Gerald’s Hut
Just a few steps beyond the village, quietly nestled in the woods, Gerald’s Hut is named after an American artist, Gerald Huth. He first arrived in Bardou in the early 1970s and returned often in the years that followed. Though never a formal helper, Gerald offered steady encouragement and support during Bardou’s early days. His deep artistic roots and remarkable family history brought a thoughtful presence to the village. Some say that The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy may even have been written here. Gerald’s Hut remains a peaceful and memorable part of Bardou’s story.
